Cleaning Instructions: CalTrend Seat Covers need to be hand washed and air dried. The customer may add a small amount of detergent to remove any stain visible. On all vinyl based materials it is recommended to clean them with a moist cloth. Please be advised adding excessive detergent may stain or damage the seat covers. One of the detergents recommended would be Woolite.
CalTrend Seat Cover Cleaning/Washing Instructions
Leatherette / Vinyl Materials
- First vacuum any debris from the surface.
- Then wipe down with a washcloth and warm water to remove any dirt from the surface.
- Optional – add a leather conditioner with a clean washcloth for additional protection
Neoprene / Wetsuit like material
- First vacuum any debris from the surface.
- Mix a small amount of detergent (we recommend Woolite) in a bucket with warm water.
- Then use a clean sponge or washcloth to gently scrub the seat covers, repeat as needed.
- Next use a clean washcloth with warm water to remove any leftover detergent.
- Finally set the covers outside to let them air dry or use a hair dryer at the no heat setting.
Velour
- First vacuum any visible debris from the surface. A soft brush attachment is recommended as this will allow youmto remove the most dirt/debris from the surface.
- Mix a small amount of detergent (we recommend Woolite) with warm water creating a soapy liquid.
- Dip a clean washcloth into the soapy water and wring it out completely.
- Use the washcloth to gently rub the areas that need cleaning, repeat as needed.
- Finally set the covers outside to let them air dry.
Duraplus / Cordura / Pet Print (Canvas like material)
- First vacuum any visible debris from the surface. A soft brush attachment is recommended as this will allow you to remove the most dirt/debris from the surface.

** Most of the cleaning process can be done without removing your seat covers. Only remove them if you are removing excessive stains.
Do Not machine wash the seat covers as the strap may damage the washer.
Do Not machine dry as the heat may damage the lamination on the seat covers.
